Cullman Police Department

For Immediate release:

Shortly after midnight on July 4, 2026, Sergeant Zane Pounders conducted a traffic stop on Katherine St NW. The driver, identified as Kimberly Wiles of Colorado Springs, CO, was found to have nationwide extradition warrants out of Colorado for a parole violation. Officer Jake Lambert, Officer Richard Muldoon, and Officer Joseph Aaron arrived to assist during the course of the stop and illicit substances were located. Wiles was subsequently charged with Trafficking in Fentanyl, Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

A big thank you to the Cullman County Public Library System for inviting us to participate in Community Heroes Day!

We enjoyed spending time with the children and families in our community, giving kids the opportunity to explore one of our police vehicles. We also had a great time handing out some Cullman Police Department swag.
