We've received some questions regarding the Fire Alert, so we wanted to share information from our Alabama experts. As always, if you need us, we're here.
PLEASE use sound judgement when burning during these weather conditions.
On Friday, January 23, 2026 at or about 4:57 pm, Gold Ridge VFD responded to the 700 block of County Rd 1514 for a residential structure fire. Berlin and Fairview VFDs responded automatic aid. Vinemont Providence FD also responded to assist with water supply. Fortunately, the residents escaped without injury. Personnel from all departments worked tirelessly together to extinguish the fire.
Once again, we observed members of our community come together for their fellow community members.
