🍁 While helping 1 year post Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, we took Sunday to be with God in nature and took a hike to the top of Round Mountain. We discovered a trail that still had heavy storm damage so we were grateful for James who donated wood he’d salvaged. We found him through Bat Cave Disaster Recovery. He owns Dogwood RV Park, which had 30+ RVs washed downstream and his land is literally gone in the debris flow. We rebuilt the table and benches so folks can rest in the woods and be close to God and maybe share a meal. We cut big trees to clear the path so hopefully the mountain will see more visitors. 🍁
