Yellow jackets, wasps, and hornets nests are getting more populated by the day. This is a bald faced hornets nest and a bald faced hornet has emerged from each of those empty holes. All of the cells with the white cap are larvae that are cocooned, which will emerge as an adult bald faced hornet.

When you treat a nest like this, you not only have to worry about the hornets that are in the nest but also the hornets that are returning to the nest.
