One week later…
Okay NOW this is my last ride of the season. I’ve bundled up like a snowmobilist on my ride to Lake Geneva, WI. It’s beautiful here on the lake front, perfect for a reading on a park bench. Finishing the third book of The Space Trilogy by CS Lewis. I highly recommend this series. This reminds me- if you’ve consumed any of my work, please take the time to spread the news. Caught a passing Harley Rider on my way home from church today and made him take a ride with me to Marengo, IL. We stopped at a cafe in town and didn’t have chili. I was deeply disappointed after this biker played up their chili. He made up for it by leading me down memory lane to on of our previous customer locations when we were field techs 20+ years ago. It was a pork slaughterhouse, a place I would loath to have to frequent. Ask me if you’re interested why. Looks like I’ll just keep Speedie from hibernation for a few more weeks and use my heated gloves. Thanks for the ride Don. See ya in class tomorrow.
