Crown Point Fire Rescue Canine Unit

We were lucky to travel with incredible teammates, including dear friends from our own backyard. Handler Deanna Lazowski who also hails from the region deployed with her partner K9 Orion. The canine search teams were rounded off with two of our mentors, from the South Bend area and Indianapolis.

The remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon couldn’t keep us off the rubble pile today. We’re soaked, but the current triple threat of hurricanes and storms in the Atlantic balances our perspective. Train like you fight!
