Bulldogs Travel Baseball - NWI

The 9U Red Bulldogs took the field in the Game Day World Series this past weekend in Crown Point. They found themselves competing against some of the best teams in the Chicagoland area.

The Dogs started out in pool play with a 1-3 record. However, all 11 players toed the rubber for the dogs and they still played competitive baseball.

Sunday morning came early as the dogs took down a local rival in an extra innings game to start off bracket play. The bats were hot and then stayed hot in the 2nd game as the team amassed 22 hits in their second match up to put themselves into the ‘ship.

In the final game the Dogs faced off against a familiar Sparks team. They popped out to an early game lead but the Sparks came back and tied the contest in the 4th. A squeeze bunt in the top of the 6th gave the Dogs a one run lead. In the bottom half they were able to hold with solid pitching and defense and were able to secure the championship ring!

Great job boys! And a great finish to the travel season!

The Crown Point 8U White team traveled to New Lennox over the weekend for the GameDay Silver World Series. The Dogs battled and obtained a 2 seed heading into bracket play on Sunday! They came up jusr short in an extended 8 inning battle royal losing to the 8u Flash Rios team.The coaches and parents couldn't be more proud of these boys and today proved that if you put in the hard work, it will pay dividends down the line. Next time the ball will fall on the right side of winning! 👊🏼 Go Dogs!

What a weekend for the 10U White Crown Point Bulldogs!

After splitting pool play games with a 1-1 record, the boys came back on Sunday focused, determined, and ready to compete. They put together two outstanding performances, going 2-0 on the day and earning their first championship as a team.

Throughout the four-game weekend, the Bulldogs showed tremendous growth in all aspects of the game. The offense came through with timely hitting, the defense made key plays when it mattered most, and the pitching staff consistently threw strikes and kept opponents off balance.

What stood out most was the team's resilience. After battling through the pool play games, the boys responded with energy and confidence on Sunday, playing their best baseball when the stakes were highest. Every player contributed, whether it was with a big hit, a strong defensive play, quality pitching, or simply being a great teammate.

Winning a championship is a special accomplishment, and this group earned it through hard work, preparation, and playing for one another. It's exciting to see the progress these young athletes continue to make each week.

Congratulations to the Crown Point Bulldogs on bringing home their first championship ring! This is a moment the players, coaches, and families will remember for a long time, and hopefully the first of many championships to come.
