I would like to remind everyone to schedule your electric inspection when purchasing a home or even after your purchase. I was just on an estimate and found signs of heavy condensation that damaged the main breaker and several breakers below the main breaker. This is totally preventable by installing a little bit of Duct seal in the pipe that comes from the meter socket. What would have only cost a small amount now leads to a complete panel change. This could have been prevented by scheduling a professional electrical inspection. This was not caught by the private inspector that was hired to inspect the house prior to purchase.
