One last thought. What would be a more effective approach? Proper ditch line cleaning can be achieved through various methods, but the current one is not ideal. Options include using a grader to pull out and haul away dirt or employing a backhoe to dip out and remove debris. Ultimately, debris should be hauled off for several reasons, including preventing ditch refilling and addressing potential creek and stream impacts related to stormwater control and erosion.
