Please hear me out…this is why we do what we do: Social media can be such a powerful tool for good! Recently, our new friend Amy G. posted about Molly, a young mother in a remote village in western Kenya, who desperately needs glasses for her one remaining eye. There’s no access to an eye doctor or optician where she lives.

That’s when our friend Danielle tagged my wife, Amy Schneider, and it started this amazing ripple effect. Amy G. and I connected, and let me just say—God’s timing is always perfect. Amy G. is now taking multiple pairs of glasses in different strengths to help Molly and others in the village. She’s also bringing a bunch of reading glasses to make a bigger impact.

But here’s where it gets even more incredible. I asked Amy if the village had electricity, and she told me they don’t. So I thought, what if we could light up this village? Enter our amazing partner, Watts of Love. Amy G. got trained by them and is now taking solar-powered lights to the village. This is going to completely change their lives!

Please keep this in your prayers—that Molly finds the perfect pair of glasses as this mission brings both sight and light to the entire village. It’s all happening next week, and we couldn’t be more excited to see how God works through this! ~ Jim
