As 2020 finally comes to an end, I like to reflect back on what the year has brought. Not just the events but the things of what I have observed. This was a challenging year emotionally as God shifted, changed and rearranged us. We had to evaluate where we stand on several national, christian and personal issues and decide if we wanted to readjust or were we in a Godly place albeit maybe uncomfortable.

God really helped us see where people stood in our life. Sometimes that was painful as we hoped they were standing in a different place than they really were. When we see the truth that always means we have choices to make. I challenge you to make sure that even though it could be painful take a step forward and don't stay in a relationship that is not good for you. We do this for a lot of reasons...love, guilt, loneliness, we think it's the right thing to do. This year make sure to protect what God has invested in you....your oil. As we love and serve others be mindful that God invested in you and it's your responsibility not to give it away to people who don't care and will only use you. I believe if we are willing to make the hard choices He will be faithful to help us know who to keep in our life, who to separate completely from and those that we need to keep some distance from until they are at a better place.

2020 has been a shaking year of everything and everyone we hold dear. As we shake on in to the new year be like the children of Israel when they crossed the Jordan. God told them to keep their eyes on the ark.. so keep your eye on the Lord. He is the door, our path and He won't let you down.
