June 7 is National Cancer Survivors Day. It is an annual, worldwide Celebration of Life held on the first Sunday of June. There are 18.1 million cancer survivors in the United States. A survivor is anyone living with a story of cancer - from the moment of diagnosis until the remainder of their life.

Let’s raise awareness about the challenges and triumphs of survivorship. Survivorship is more than making it through – it’s about living fully, finding hope, and supporting one another every step of the way. Survivors need more resources to support quality of life.

Believe survivors. Don’t dismiss their challenges. Keep showing up. Continue checking in, listening and offering help. And share this post! Help raise awareness about life after a cancer diagnosis.
