If you haven't already heard, Springfield Recreation Department's Running Club is back this Fall! Running Club features an 8-week schedule with your choice of one or two classes per week, or both! Physical fitness training is an important life lesson for all children and young athletes. In the Running Club, children learn to run faster over short distances. Agility drills and injury prevention techniques will also be covered, as well as an introduction to endurance running. The Running Club is open to Springfield, New Jersey - Union County residents and children in Springfield Public Schools. A minimum number of children is required. Space is limited. In the event of inclement weather, every effort will be made to reschedule one joint make-up class.
