Last week I asked, "What would you do if.... a man approaches you in the grocery store parking lot saying there is something wrong with your engine?"

Here's the story that prompted that, from Smyrna, Georgia, where the woman in a Kroger parking lot shared her story. From the reporting and comments, it sounds as though he's been very active in approaching multiple women in the area.

He appears to approach women in their cars, while someone else is waiting in the car.

Don't open your doors or hood for a stranger. There may well be good samaritans out there, but it might be super hard to distinguish one from the other!

If someone tells you there is a problem (noise in the engine, flat tire, etc.), you're far better off driving to a different parking lot before getting out to inspect.
