FARMLAND FOR RENT
First United Methodist Church of Covington, Inc. (FUMC) is now accepting bids for the 450.5 acre farm for rent in the Kelly’s Corner/Dunlap Orphanage area in Tipton County (FSA Farm Number 2353).
Additional information:
• The lessee cannot sub-lease the farm, during the duration of the lease.
• The farm contains 434 tillable acres of cropland.
• Sealed bids (only bids of cash per acre) will be accepted until 12 noon on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026.
• Bids may be mailed to First United Methodist Church of Covington, Inc., Attention: Farm Bid, 145 West Church Avenue, Covington, Tennessee 38019 or delivered to the Church Office at the same address between
9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Bids (including USPS mailed bids) received after 12:01 p.m. on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026, will be discarded.
• FUMC reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
• Copies of the proposed lease agreement and map of the property may be picked up at the church office between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
