During COVID we had a family member hold the board for their child. It was such a sweet ending to a 3-4 hour exam, but more than that it was a way to celebrate the journey that these kids couldn’t make without the support of their family. No child gets to class a minimum of twice a week for a minimum of three years without the support of their family and pass or retest this is a point they get to celebrate together. It ended up being so special it’s one thing we didn’t change back.

After 3-12 year of training multiple times a week, and a nearly 5 hour exam UMAS Karate is proud to present our newest first, second, and third degree black belts!
