When we made this sign years ago, before I had kids, I remember thinking, “One day, if I have a little girl who loves tutus but also loves climbing trees, getting dirty, and exploring… I’ll have to make this for her too.”

This was one of those extra special custom projects. A grandma came to us wanting an heirloom piece made just for her granddaughter, once she was big enough to see “who she was”. We drew and created the whole piece ourselves, back in the pre-AI days. 😉

Well, 5 years later, I have exactly that little girl.

After school, she ran straight for the tree in her tutu (that she insists on wearing any chance she gets), and it instantly reminded me of this piece.

So now I think it’s time to finally make v2 for her room.

From the layered skyline details to the dimensional lettering and matching medals, every piece was designed to make the night feel special and memorable for the students and performers receiving them.

Projects like this are one of our favorite parts of what we do… creating awards that feel meaningful and unique enough to keep forever!

We loved helping transform this conference room for the NKY Water District with three custom signage installations. We also had the opportunity to recreate these signs for another one of their locations. 💧
