Early June 1926 brought Derby fever to Northern Kentucky as the Kentucky Post splashed the headline: “Bradley Takes Derby” across its front page following the dramatic finish at Latonia.

On June 6, 1926, thousands packed the track to witness E.R. Bradley’s horse surge to victory in one of the era’s most talked-about Kentucky Derbies. The paper captured not only the thrilling race itself, but also the fashion, excitement, and social scene surrounding Derby weekend nearly 100 years ago.

From cloche hats and sharp summer suits to crowded grandstands and buzzing headlines, this front page is a snapshot of Kentucky history in the Roaring Twenties.
