The Bulldogs GIVE Back Club hosted nearly 125 pre-K students from James E. Biggs in a Literacy Celebration this afternoon. High school students practiced dialogic/shared reading with the pre-K students and presented each with a book mark, summer reading list, and a canvas tote bag. All students were able to "shop" for free children's books at the event. Each pre-K student received a new book purchased by funds raised by the Bulldogs GIVE Back Club and a donated gently-used book. They also heard from a guest speaker from the local library.
