I am ashamed of Donald J. Trump's words and actions and I am embarrassed that he is our President.
Yá'át'ééh my relatives,
It is a beautiful spring week here in D.C., and while the city is celebrating the peak bloom of the cherry blossoms, I’ve been spending my days listening to the oral arguments in the Supreme Court case Trump v. Barbara.
The national debate over birthright citizenship is back at the forefront, but the conversation I’m hearing on the news—whether from the Left or the Right—is fundamentally missing the point. I’ve just finished recording a new episode of my podcast to offer a perspective that doesn't fit into the two-party binary.
We cannot have a just conversation about who "belongs" on this land until we are willing to look at the foundations of our Nation itself. It’s time to stop re-carpeting a broken floor and start looking at our history with both honesty and integrity. I invite you to join me as we move beyond partisan screaming matches and toward a much-needed national intervention.
I invite you to listen on your favorite Podcast App:
