Covington - Ga. Lions Club

The world famous SECRET RECIPE Covington Lions Club Chili Supper is only a week or so away. It will happen on Thursday, February 12th from 5 pm until 7 pm. At Academy Springs Park. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for kids. All you can eat. Eat in or take out. You can buy tickets from any Lions member or go to Mayfield's Ace Hardware. Or you can buy them at the door. Come eat with your neighbors and have a good time.

I am pretty sure that the first thing on everyone's mind when they wake up is what's for supper. Have no fear, the Covington Lions Club has the answer at least for today. Our annual Pancake Supper is this very evening from 5 until 7 at Academy Springs Park. You could eat pancakes from 5 until 7 if you are up for it. The proceeds go to various Lions endeavors. We just did vision screening for about 3600 students in the Newton County Schools (1st, 3rd, and 6th grades). Stuff like that. So come have some pancakes with us
