📣 Layla is officially discharged and on her way to a brand-new chapter! ❤️

Tonight, this brave little girl made it safely to her foster home with Ashlyn at Barking Wishes Rescue, where she'll spend the next six weeks healing with soft meals, lots of love, and plenty of TLC.

A huge thank you to Dr. Melissa Blazevich and the incredible team at South Paws Veterinary Surgical Specialists for repairing Layla's fractured lower jaw. The wonderful news is that while she also has fractures to the roof of her mouth and upper jaw, they are well aligned and are expected to heal with supportive care—no additional reconstruction was needed. And thanks to LaRhonda (left) and Katie for getting her ready for discharge! ❤️

We're grateful to April Tauzin (on left) who volunteered to transport this angel from Mandeville to Ashlyn (on right) tonight, and to her biggest fan Leslie for making the long drive from Crowley to Mandeville to get Layla safely to her surgery. ❤️

Just weeks ago, Layla was abandoned in rural Acadia Parish, wandering from house to house looking for food. Tonight, she's safe, loved, and finally has the chance she always deserved.

Thank you to everyone who's been cheering this precious girl on. We can't wait to watch her heal! 🩷
