Key Points:
Fines for adding compensation to your listings after August 13th will be - $1,500 for the Broker and $1,000 for the Agent, for each offense. DO NOT ADD COMPENSATION TO YOUR LISTINGS! This includes workarounds or “code words”.
Above and beyond the NAR Settlement agreement - new LA state law 690 will require all licensees to have a signed Buyer Broker Agreement before showing homes to a potential buyer.
