I saw this on my phone today and decided to post about it to help.Anyone who may be scammed by a fishing text in the future

Mistake 1 they text me using a real phone # to text me

Mistake 2 the (800) number they wanted me to dial. It's not associated with Navy Federal. They only have one number and it's on the back of the card

Mistake 3 underestimating me, I always call the bank directly and never the
number provide it in the text because if it's real HQ will know.

Note: I confirmed with them it's a fake notification.
