Our Newton FFA Officers had a full day of learning, leadership, and community connections at our C**T Conference!

A huge thank you to Heather Bowman with Leadership Newton County for sharing valuable leadership insights with our officers. We also appreciate Serra Hall from Covington Economic Development for giving our members a closer look at the exciting growth and opportunities happening throughout Newton County.

Our officers had the opportunity to visit Berry's Tree Farm, LLC, where owner Chuck Berry shared the story of his operation and provided an inside look at the daily workings of his farm.

A special thank you to Newton County, Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance for sponsoring lunch for our group!

We wrapped up the day with a visit to one of our local fire departments, where members toured the firehouse, learned about the daily responsibilities of firefighters, and gained a greater appreciation for their service to our community. Members were also honored to present snacks and beverages to the firefighters, generously sponsored by Newton County Young Farmers.

First 2 days of C**T the officers did some great planning! Excited for some new things for the upcoming school year!!

It was great celebrating our members and having fun like we do!

Huge thank you to those who contributed to the first round of items for Brantley Co. Fire and the family they serve. We are still collecting this week! The NHS drop-off will be collecting items until Thursday.
