Last but not least, our People's Choice winner for 'Historic Coventry: A Celebration in Art'! Many congrats to Mia T. for this piece depicting Coventry landmark Read School House, which will soon be printed on a special edition library card!
A huge congratulations to all of the winners of Coventry’s townwide student art contest ‘Historic Coventry: A Celebration in Art’! And thank you to the 100+ students who submitted their artwork! We had a great night with 200 people in attendance.
And a big thank you to our emcees, Town Council president Verducci and Officer Ferri, as well as our partners in this project – the Paine House (WRICHS), Coventry Historic Preservation Commission, the Town of Coventry, the Nathanael Greene Homestead, Coventry Parks and Recreation, and the wonderful art teachers in our schools!
