What a great day for Lacrosse!!! The day started out with the Girls 7th/8th grade team. They played their hearts out. They have some really good athletes. Even though they came out with a loss they never gave up and played right to the end. Great Job Ladies!!
The Boys 7th and 8th grade squad battled it out verses Westerly. They were down 4-1 going into the half. Coaches made a few adjustments and the boys responded and tied the game with 4 minutes left. With only 8 seconds left on the clock the team had one mlre chance left before the game ended in a tie and right before time expired the ball hit the back of the net and we came out with a clutch goal to win the game. What a way to win!!!
After all the big kids got to play it was on to the little guys. Our 1st and 2nd graders looked like they could beat our 5th and 6th team. Their passing was incredible and their defense was ferocious. The little guys got it done and made standing in the rain worth it.
Great Job to all of the players for giving it their all.

Lacrosse is growing here in Coventry. Theres no better feeling than seeing this sport grow and giving kids the chance to try the Fastest game on 2 feet. Countless hours on this field. Getting uniform orders in. Zoom meetings every month. Setting up all the nets and painting the field well this photo right here makes it all worth it. These kids are the reason I do this with no complaints. The smiles on these kids and the friendships gained is what makes this all worth it. To hear "hey coach" outside of this field makes it all worth it. This is my 9th year in this assiociation and my 8th year as president. This has been one hell of a ride and im still not done!!!!
