I had the opportunity to photograph the beautiful Maypole celebration at Villa Duchesne, a tradition filled with music, dancing, ribbons, and generations of school spirit.

The Maypole dance dates back hundreds of years and is believed to have originated in Europe as a celebration of spring, renewal, and community. The colorful ribbons woven around the pole symbolize the coming together of individuals to create something beautiful as a whole. 🌷🎀

Watching students carry on a tradition that has been cherished for generations was such a special experience, and it was an honor to capture these memories for this lovely family.
