Energy Performance Lighting
The primary responsibility of the Field Installer is to ensure quality installation of energy efficient lighting products for EPL’s customers/clients. The position will report directly to the Field Supervisor, or designated Field Lead. This position requires weekly Monday-Thursday (some Friday’s) overnight travel to job sites.
The Field Installer is directly responsible for the following;
• Assembles, loads/unloads products, materials, consumables and/or equipment (small tools, ladders, etc.) needed for projects
• Directly responsible for quality and timely installation of lighting systems for assigned projects.
• Maintains clean work environment at all times.
• Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner at all times and always makes decisions in the best interest of the company.
• Handles recycling activities as directed by Field Supervisor/Lead.
• Completes necessary safety training.
• Adheres to all EPL and/or governing safety requirements.
• Drives company vehicle to and from projects as needed.
• Maintains a clean driving record.
• Maintains company vehicle and equipment as needed (gas, oil, tire pressure, etc.)
Qualifications
• Frequently travels with overnight stays (rarely works weekends). This position is typically has out of town travel Monday-Thursday.
• Ability to work first, second or third shift. Work week is typically 4-10 hour days (Monday - Thursday) depending on client’s needs.
• Ability to pass State background checks (projects are mostly State owned and School District Projects).
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Able to work on ladders and lifts.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work over your head for extended periods of time.
• Electrical experience or knowledge preferred.
• Good relationship skills and ability to collaborate with others to complete work.
• Able to communicate well with people
• Self-driven and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong work ethic.
Compensation
• Average hourly wage rate of $20-$30
