With a growing local demand at each storefront—Lilac Patisserie and Lilac Café, along with increased e-commerce needs, Gillian + Alam, the husband and wife duo and founders redefining gluten-free baking, needed a robust website update that could handle their small business's success.

We were tasked with designing + developing a new website that could help the small business play big by streamlining its increasingly complex operations, which included café, café to-go, bakery, custom cakes, catering, and e-commerce.

The result: A de facto back office for the business. Key functionality included an integrated e-commerce storefront, online ordering for the café, POS system integration to streamline price and menu changes across the business, a system for automating cake tastings, and large, organized image galleries to better merchandise Lilac’s works of edible art.
