The Love Riot

One our our all time favorite weddings. Not just because it was beautiful and colorful, but because and are two of the most genuine and joyful people we have had the pleasure of knowing. You could feel the same energy radiating from their guests who were there cheering them on. Also, all the confetti. Sorry you may still be finding confetti 🎉🎉🎉✨

On one of our final calls, I was discussing with Lucy + Mike logistics of their first look and how they would be getting to the venue. Lucy mentioned that she had this vision of her and Mike walking the 2 miles through SF to the venue while followed them taking pictures. I loved the vision and could see this being amazing, but my planner brain was stuck on the what ifs…what if her dress gets dirty, or her hair and make up get blown or sweaty or cold…all the things. But, when you have an amazing couple that is ready for an adventure and so is their insanely talented photographer… you just let them do their thing. That is when magical things happen. Lucy and Mike were in their element and they look like freaking celebrities walking through Golden Gate Park.
