I don’t talk about this, but I’m glad this woman does… makes me realize how normal this behavior is and that we really aren’t alone… it’s not just me❤️

Charlie is not violent 99% of the time. But when he is, it’s bad.

My mom is visiting from France for the first time in over two years, and I thought I’d be brave and take all three kids to see the bluebonnets an hour away.

Within one minute of getting there, Charlie screamed, came at me, and punched me in the head multiple times. I covered up with my arms while my mom tried to get him off me. She knew Charlie could be aggressive, but she had never seen it in action. She was left in shock.

The hardest part is that I still have no idea what triggered him. He was happy walking to the field, giggling, and then within a minute of sitting down (on his own), he exploded.

Today also reminded me how quickly a public place can feel very private when things go bad. No one asked if we needed help.

And also a reminder to me that I should never take all three kids out alone like that without another adult who’s familiar with Charlie’s behaviors.

I just didn’t want Charlie to be left out, and he usually loves being outdoors. I keep thinking about what would have happened if he had done what he did to me to Billie who’s so defenseless…

Dr ordered 5 more blood tests….the 40 I had last week didn’t give us any answers :(this is stressful)
