Northside Open Studio Tour

NOST Artists were thrilled to support Corvallis Environmental Center this year! It feels so good to know that our art continues to bring joy in so many ways.

We started delivering checks this week to the local non-profits.

This year, NOST Artists raised over $4,500 to support organizations in our community that help people experiencing hardship.

The first check we delivered was to Vina Moses Center /. We had so much fun looking at their Curious Things Museum - full of the strange and unique donations they have received over the years. Have you donated to them yet?

We are so grateful for Vina's presence and impact in Benton County and love celebrating the work they do.

This was another great year for NOST.

We are full of gratitude for your enthusiasm and support, Corvallis.

Keep an eye out in the following weeks for information about next years dates and how your support has positively impacted the community.

Artists are donating a percentage of their sales this year to three non-profits; Vina Moses Center/ , Ten Rivers Food Web/ , and Corvallis Environmental Center / .

Day 1 of NOST was So.Much. FUN!!!

Sunshine, spring flowers, studio spaces, community, YOU! ... It doesn't get much better than this Corvallis!

Who is coming out to join us for day 2 tomorrow?

Avie Meadows, one of the NOST Co-Founders, is an Artist and Ceramic Teacher living and working in Corvallis.

Avie invites the community to visit her studio during NOST and bear witness to the very beginnings of a new body of work.

Through paint, ceramic and glass (a medium completely new to her) she is investigating emotion and resilience in order to develop a sculptural representation of the lived human experience and internal voices many contend with on a daily basis.

She won't have a lot of work for sale but she does have some examples of her new processes.
