Project Turnaround stopped by the on Third Thursday to share a fun craft with the community. We encouraged art lovers to design and color their own tote bags. Crafts can be a fun way to feel good on a day you might not feel your best. You only need a few supplies to make a wonderful art piece! Come see us every third Thursday at the Art Museum for more fun crafts to build.

We are still reeling from our Growing Together! Spring Health Festival in partnership with Odem ISD we hosted on Friday, April 10th!

Thank you to every single community partner who joined us this evening and helped us connect Odem to community resources, engage in family fun, and have a blast on a Friday evening! Without each and every community partner, the success of this event would not have been possible.

Thank you to Arms Wide, Christus Spohn Hospital - Beeville, Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation, Community Action, First Baptist Church - Odem, Maximus - STAR Program, Parents as Teachers Catholic Charities, Prospine Chiropractic, San Patricio Adult Literacy Council, San Patricio County Department of Public Health, South Texas Family Planning & Health Corporation, St. Jude Home Care, Tx Dept of State Health Services, Wild P's Boutique, Avir Nursing Home, MG3 Insurance Agency, and Threaded Expressions.

Through our collaborative efforts, we were able to provide services to 200+ individuals in Odem and surrounding areas! Thank you to everyone who came out and joined us for a night full of family fun and connecting people to community resources!

A huge THANK YOU to the Nueces County Commissioners, especially Brent Chesney and Joe A. Gonzalez, for their support of Coastal Bend Wellness Foundation, Youth Programs Department, as we reach out to youth and families in our community to encourage healthy outcomes for teens, while reducing alcohol, to***co, and other substance misuse. Our Youth Programs Department makes over 38,000 person-to-person contacts with youth, families, and the community annually.
