This work explores the relationship between Mother earth and the unwanted gifts given.

We have one earth, one Mother, one Mother earth. Longing for the days of normalcy and to have a gathering without a care in the world. Now we must take care of ourselves but Mother as well.

We are drowning in oceans of plastic bottles, a necessity for a single straw has become habitual, now we are walking past lifeless crumbled facemasks on a sidewalk, or scattered across grocery and retail store parking lots. Either way, face masks dont belong on the ground.

We are blinded by the foggy plastic; we only see what benefits us in the moment. We selfishly think of products to make us okay but we forget what we are standing on. We forget what we breathe, we forget Mother earth. We ultimately forget to care and dispose of our selfish products properly.
