A huge congratulations to our practice manager, Shannon Sehne. She is vice president of the Chino Valley Lions Club and created Operation Christmas Soldier Project. In 2017 she and her club partnered with Operation Help A Hero to make Christmas baskets for single service men and women, stationed at Camp Pendleton who were unable to spend time with their families during the holidays. The club started with 25 baskets the first year and by 2019 the project was approved district wide and sent over 400 baskets!!!! The goal for 2020 is 1,000 baskets. This is a beautiful thank you for their overall sacrifice in keeping our country safe. Because of her hard work and dedication on this project, Shannon has received multiple awards.

Melvin Jones Fellows 2018: It is a very prestigious award given to those members within a club who give of themselves unselfishly. This award is the highest honor a Lion can receive!

MD4 Excellence Award 2020: This is a once in a lifetime award for outstanding leadership ability and expanding the Christmas Soldier Project district wide. Must be approved by current and past governors.

International Presidents Medal 2020: Awarded by the International President to recognize Lions who distinguish themselves for exemplary service that significantly strengthens their community.
