🚤 HELP WANTED – BOAT DELIVERY DRIVER (Lake Norman) 🌅

Paul’s Pontoon Rentals is looking for a true Lake Norman boater to join our team for the season. If you love being on the water and know Lake Norman well, this might be the coolest job you’ll ever have.

You’ll primarily be delivering and picking up luxury pontoon boats for vacationing families around the lake. Most deliveries happen in the evenings, which means you’re often getting paid for sunset cruises all boating season long.

What the job looks like

• Delivering and retrieving luxury pontoon boats around Lake Norman
• Meeting customers and helping them get comfortable with the boat
• Handling boats confidently in wind, wakes, and boat traffic
• Thinking on your feet when the lake throws you a curveball
• Representing our company with great customer service and a friendly personality

Schedule

• Mostly evenings between 5pm – 10pm (sometimes earlier)
• Some daytime deliveries
• Weekends required
• Seasonal position now through Thanksgiving

Pay

💰 Per delivery + tips
Most drivers earn $100 – $300+ per evening, sometimes more.

Ideal candidate

✔ Extensive boating experience (especially on Lake Norman)
✔ Confident docking and handling pontoon boats in real conditions
✔ Friendly, charismatic, and great with customers
✔ Handy with boats (changing props, basic wiring, troubleshooting is a plus)
✔ Able to stay calm and solve problems on the water
✔ Preferably located in or near Cornelius

We will train you on our boats, but strong boating experience is a must.

• Is confident handling boats in real lake conditions
• Can stay calm and think clearly when things don’t go perfectly
• Is friendly and great with customers
• Pays attention to details and takes pride in their work
• Genuinely loves being on the water

This job isn’t for someone who just wants a paycheck.
It’s for someone who wants to spend their evenings enjoying Lake Norman sunsets all boating season long.
