The Urban Ladybug Farm

Part 5 - last Fridays harvest was just the start to what the garden is about to provide to our family and to our wonderful community who supports us in so many ways. The next step is going to be to upgrade to a second or even larger fridge for both the stand and inside the bakery. We just got back from a mini camping trip from Sunday to Wednesday and I have yet to peak inside the garden to see what is to be harvested this week for the stand but I just have a feeling it’s going to trump this harvest by ALOT! I hope we have more fruit available on the stand this weekend in addition to the delicious grapes we got to surprise farm stand visitors with last weekend. In 2019 our CSA boxes mostly consisted of veggies and fruits with a little bit of sourdough and some flowers and eggs. Sharing our produce with the community has always been the foundation of all that we do here, it’s where our passion took root and ultimately helped us grow into where we are today. So we hope that those offerings only continue to grow, and from what we can see- from selling out each week- it’s what you guys want more than anything. Access to fresh, organically grown, fruit and vegetables, grown right in the gardens you can see for your own eyes that are so lovingly planted and cared for by the micro-farmers who tend them. ❤️🌱
