Today, we proudly celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America and the freedoms that have united generations of Americans.

On this Independence Day, the members of Vigilant Engine Co. honor the courage and sacrifice of those who secured our nation’s independence and all who have continued to protect it since.

As we gather with family, friends, and neighbors, we wish everyone a safe and happy Fourth of July. Please celebrate responsibly and take the time to remember the values that make our country strong.

The Vigilant Engine Company was proud to attend the dedication and wet down ceremony for Lindenhurst Fire Department’s apparatus:

Engine 1-6-2, Engine 1-6-6, Rescue 1-6-7, and Rescue 1-6-17.

It was an honor to join fellow firefighters, department members, families, and community supporters in celebrating this important tradition.

Thank you for your hospitality and for allowing us to be part of such a memorable day.
