This precious peachick was found all alone in the middle of a busy road with no sign of her family. Thankfully, a compassionate Miami officer stopped, rescued her, and brought her safely to us.

A huge thank you for taking the time to help this tiny life instead of driving by. Because of your kindness, she’s now safe, warm, and getting the care she needs.

Duckling season never stops, and unfortunately neither does hurricane season. 🦆🌀

On top of our sick/Injured patients and disabled residents, we’re receiving calls and texts every 10-15 minutes about orphaned ducklings needing immediate help.

For now, we are still here for patient admissions and available to help both ducklings and adult ducks in need. However, as we move deeper into the heart of hurricane season, we will begin slowing down admissions so we can fully prepare and protect our permanent residents.
