💜 We asked... and you delivered! 💜

We shared our Favor Friday wish list, and before we knew it, a donation was at our door! 🥹

Not only did we receive the baby booster seat we were hoping for, but also snacks, activities, and thoughtful extras for the families we serve.

Your generosity never ceases to amaze us. Thank you for helping create a welcoming space for survivors and their children.

We're still accepting donations, and every contribution helps make a difficult day a little easier. 💜

People tend to make excuses for abuse because of a lot of things: stress, alcohol, trauma, anger, insecurity, jealousy, mental health struggles, relationship problems, or a difficult past.

Those things can help explain what someone is going through, but they don't make someone abusive. Many people deal with the same challenges and never choose to control, intimidate, manipulate, threaten, or hurt the people around them.

At some point, it's important to separate explanations from excuses. Understanding why someone behaves a certain way doesn't remove their responsibility for the choices they make.

Abuse isn't caused by stress or bad days. It's caused by someone choosing abusive behavior.
