Spent a weekend studying, learning and praying with the Subiaco Abbey Monks at Subiaco Abbey in Arkansas. What a refreshing, quiet, amazing time with these godly men who have given their lives to the service and prayer to God.

It was so funny. My phone is always kept in my Chicken Tramper Ultralight Gear pocket on my pack. I’ve never had this happen because we usually don’t backpack when it’s hot. But you have to take whatever the weather gives you sometimes.

I would take my phone out to take pics. And it wasn’t even up against my body where the heat was radiating. But the camera would still fog up. Just another small detailed memory that made this trip so special.

Can’t go without this. It’s so nice especially when you use collapsible bottles from Cnoc Outdoors … almost impossible to be a one man show and filter water into the bottle and hold the bottle. So now I just hang it and do something else. Amazing how such a small gadget can make such a huge difference in quality of life.

My adapter froze and split this past weekend. Was leaking water pretty badly so E6000 to the rescue! Ordered a couple extras today from Hilltop Packs Apex Giant because I’m spoiled to them and can’t be without. Lol.
