Some of y’all are collecting 10U trophies like they’re college offers.

They’re not.

I hate to break it to you, but nobody is calling your daughter at 17 because she won a bunch of tournaments at 9 years old.

What matters is one simple question…

Did she actually become a better player?

Because if she’s standing in right field for two innings a weekend…or watching from the dugout while everyone celebrates another championship…who’s really winning?

Adults love to say, “We’re on the best team.”

Cool.

Is your kid getting better?

Is she making mistakes?

Is she learning how to compete when the game is on the line?

Or is she just wearing a medal she didn’t have much to do with?

Development isn’t sexy.

It’s ugly. It’s frustrating. It comes with strikeouts, walks, errors, tears, and learning how to fight through all of it.

That’s what gets kids to 17 and 18.

I’d rather have a 10-year-old who plays every inning, gets exposed, learns, and grows…

Than one who wins every weekend but never has to carry any responsibility.

Stop chasing wins that feed your ego.

Start chasing opportunities that build your athlete.

Because the scoreboard at 10 years old gets forgotten.

The player your kid becomes never does.

She may be little, but she’s fierce! She loves the game! Knows the game! And pours everything she has into each practice, each inning, and each cheer from the dugout,No matter the score! She’s cheering louder, hustling hard, making plays, and giving everything she has for her MoCo Mayhem team.

Her enthusiasm is contagious and her teammates know they can always count on her encouragement.

This weekend, Lily was able to reminded herself just how capable she is!! She stepped in the box and believed in herself like her team believes in her! She got herself a great hit!! You could see her confidence grow with every step as she FLEW around the bases!
Her speed, energy, and excitement were contagious, and the girls were hyped up for her!! This is EXACTLY what MoCo Mayhem is all about!!

Lily, never stop believing in yourself. Your team has always believed in you, and now YOU get to see what THEY see every day.

Some players shy away from the ball… not Stella!

Stella isn’t afraid to get dirty! She never backs down from a hard-hit ball. She will sacrifice her body and dive for a ball to save a run or get an out! Her instincts, toughness, and heart at 3rd base make her one of the toughest defenders on the field!

Her grit, hustle, and willingness to leave it all on the field make her an anchor of our defense. If the ball is hit her way… watch out! 👀

She proves that great defense isn’t just about talent—it’s about courage, grit, hustle, and heart!!
