Self Storage & Spring Cleaning
The sooner you get this done, the happier you will be, no point in keeping winter things around.

Make A List
No good spring cleaning endeavor is going to go well without a plan. Get a pen and paper and start making a list of all the things that you want to remove from your home. It’s even easier to just make a note on your phone, that way you will never lose it. Another very useful item is an app called Boxmeup.
Plan of Attack
Think about this one carefully, some people like to start with the easiest rooms first and move along, but we suggest starting with the hardest first. This could be either the garage or the kitchen. Either way, do not leave the room or start on another unless you are 100% done.

Store Seasonal Items
No need for anything winter anymore. Ski’s, jackets, pants etc should all go into storage until next year. If you do not have a dedicated space to store these things, your best bet is renting a self storage unit. Even if you have the space you could probably use it for something better. Your home shouldn’t become a storage unit.

Choose a Unit
Totally dependent on the amount of items you want to store. If it’s just a few boxes of items, you can grab the smallest unit, like a 5×5. From there you can only go bigger, if you plan to use your unit as a second garage, you can rent a 10x20 unit.
