Holland House, day 28...

Getting into the swing of things. We just got back from a long trip and are checking on the new oil tank that was replaced while we were gone. Now that the snow is finally melted, we have had a chance to eye the property more closely. Found a few small flower beds and this lone clump of rhubarb - a classic find in New England. Steve has put up the first of our security system, even though the seller told us you don't even need to lock the home. Thinking about an interior color scheme and pretty sure I'm going to go with light to medium gray, starting with this badly scarred built-in. Lots of miscellaneous repairs to do, such as the lamp, just outside our main entrance. I can't wait to dig in! (Stay tuned to find out why the name Holland House!) , , , , ,
