Are you seeking an advanced highly versatile, modular multi-parameter submersible data logger? Hobo’s MX801 can do just that for you while integrating sensors (purchased separately) for measuring water temperature, depth, water conductivity/salinity and/or dissolved oxygen.
Hobo’s MX801 data logger is configured and offloaded wirelessly via a Bluetooth connection using the HOBO connect mobile app. The MX801 Bluetooth data logger can be used with single or dual interchangeable sensors making it a highly versatile logger for a wide range of aquatic applications.
This data logger is powered by four AA user replaceable batteries which provide anywhere from 1-2 years of logging depending on the sensors and configuration settings used. The internal memory can store a total of 730,000 readings providing long record periods in between offloads.

This device is extremely durable and specially made to measure temperatures in oceans, lakes, streams and soil. You will be able to retrieve immediate data out in the field and conveniently download it to your device using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The unit includes an LED alarm that lets you know when the temperature has exceeded the set threshold. The data is viewable in Onset’s free HOBOconnect app or sent to the Li-Cor Cloud Platform with an MX Data plan.
