Our June events got bumped back a week by my vacation, but here's what we've got!

A local school is carrying a school lunch debt of $23,633. Because of that debt, students are being told they won't be allowed to walk at graduation.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Children who have worked for years toward this milestone may miss out on crossing the stage because families are struggling to pay for food for their children.

I know times are hard. Many of us are feeling it. But I also know what communities can do when they decide to show up for one another. I've watched complete strangers rally around families facing medical emergencies, house fires, and unimaginable hardships. I've seen thousands of dollars raised in just days because people cared.

What if we did that here?

What if hundreds of people gave $5, $10, or $20?

What if businesses shared this post?

What if we stopped saying, "Someone should do something," and became the someone?
