Howl Of A Good Time

This post is for Walter, Walty, Walts My Boy… sadly one of my best friends passed away this week. I’ve known Walter since he was just a young pup and for the past 2+ years I’ve been walking Walter and his brother twice a week, and spending weeks together caring for them so their Mom could explore the world. Walter was a gentle giant, an old soul, a goofy boy and the best listener. Most importantly he was the most patient companion to his little brother Harlan and the best friend to my girls and anyone who would meet him, never missing an opportunity to lean his whole body weight into you and demand attention. Complimented wherever we went for his handsome looks and tall stature, he also had varying health issues and lived the best life with the best care from his owner Karen. I’m so glad that I had so many opportunities to form a deep bond with Walter and I’m devastated that we’ll never get to snuggle again. May he be greeted at the rainbow bridge with all the love of the animals who have crossed before him, especially his big sister Josie. I love you so much buddy ♥️
