Cheshire Medical Center is set to expand cancer care services this September with the addition of a second linear accelerator, allowing more patients to receive advanced radiation treatment closer to home.

Supported by a community-backed $41 million campaign, the project will increase access to care, reduce travel burdens for patients, and strengthen health care services across the . It’s an exciting investment in the future of New Hampshire health care and the communities it serves!

Cheshire Medical radiation treatment expansion nearly ready The Keene hospital is placing the final beam on its new linear accelerator, which will allow the Keene hospital to give radiation treatment to more patients.

Applications are OPEN for Granite Edvance 2026 Fall Term scholarships! 📚 New Hampshire students pursuing two-year degree programs or trade/certification schools may be eligible for scholarship support this fall:
▪️ Up to $1,500 for two-year programs.
▪️ Up to $1,000 for trade schools.
▪️ More than $110,000 available statewide.

To apply, students must:
✔️ Be a New Hampshire resident.
✔️ Enrolled or plan to be enrolled in at least 6 credits at an eligible school.
✔️ Have a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
✔️ Demonstrate financial need.
