ACHP-Smithsonian Cultural Heritage Fellowship

The theme for the 2017 Fall Semester ACHP-SI fellowship is Latino Heritage. Those with an interest in learning more about the preservation of Latino culture, heritage, sites and artifacts are especially encouraged to apply.
This fellowship is a joint experience with the Smithsonian Institution (SI) and the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP).
This place-based, cultural heritage fellowship will highlight the connection between intangible cultural heritage and place.

The Enriquecemos workshops are designed to help you improve your Spanish skills and pass the BTLPT (Spanish Proficiency test) while also learning how to teach Spanish reading and writing in a bilingual classroom.

The Texas A&M-Commerce Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa is offering a $500.00 Scholarship to a qualified undergrad student and a qualified graduate student. 2017 TexTESOL V Scholarship

TexTESOL V (Texas Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) will provide four $1000 scholarships to selected North Texas applicants who meet the requirements. High School student must have been in an ESL program at one point during grades K-12. To be considered for one of the TexTESOL scholarships, a student must submit COMPLETED application electronically through this online form or via direct email [email protected]. Four $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.The application consists of the following sections:

Personal Reflection– Original Essay
Letters of Reference (2) and Transcript
